Gluetacs Therapeutics recently received the Growth Category Outstanding Enterprise Award at the 2026 “Startup in Shanghai International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition”. Its project, “Discovery and Development of VAV1-Targeting Molecular Glue Degraders for the Treatment of Autoimmune Diseases,” earned strong recognition from the expert judging panel for its innovative research achievements and well defined commercialization strategy commercialization. 

Held annually for 15 years, the competition serves as a platform for identifying and nurturing science and technology-driven enterprises. The 2026 competition, aligned with Shanghai’s “2+3+6+6” modern industrial framework, attracted more than 9,000 innovation projects worldwide. The semifinals brought together innovative companies from across Shanghai.

The award-winning project is based on the company’s proprietary GlueTacs® protein degradation technology platform, which has enabled the discovery of GT969, an orally available molecular glue degrader candidate targeting VAV1, a previously considered “undruggable” target. 

Winning the Outstanding Growth-Stage Enterprise Award represents further endorsement by the competition organizers and industry experts of Gluetacs Therapeutics’ proprietary innovation capabilities, the value of its technology platforms, and the clinical translation potential of its novel drug discovery programs.
