August 11, 2026—Gluetacs Therapeutics, a clinical‑stage innovative biopharmaceutical company focused on protein degradation technologies, announces that the first subject has been successfully dosed in China in a Phase I clinical study of GT818, its independently developed first‑in‑class oral RSK‑targeting bifunctional degrader, for the treatment of advanced malignant tumors (Clinical Trial Number: CTR20262764).
About Advanced Malignant Tumors
Advanced malignant tumors are a group of aggressive diseases characterized by widespread tumor dissemination, multi‑organ infiltration, and systemic drug resistance. They are often accompanied by complex clinical syndromes including cachexia, cancer‑related pain, and multisystem dysfunction, with rapid progression and high heterogeneity. Despite continuous breakthroughs in targeted therapy and immunotherapy, treatment options for this disease remain limited both domestically and internationally. In particular, for patients who have failed multiple lines of prior therapy, the efficacy of existing drugs is often unsustainable.
About GT818
GT818 is an oral RSK‑targeting bifunctional degrader developed based on Gluetacs Therapeutics’ proprietary GlueTacs® platform with independent intellectual property rights. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that GT818 selectively degrades pathogenic RSK protein with high potency, exhibits favorable oral bioavailability, and shows excellent antitumor efficacy and a robust safety window across multiple solid tumor models, including triple‑negative breast cancer, prostate cancer, non‑small cell lung cancer, colorectal cancer, and pancreatic cancer. This first‑patient‑dosed milestone marks the transition of GT818 from preclinical research to clinical development, and also signifies the expansion of Gluetacs Therapeutics’ therapeutic focus from hematologic malignancies (represented by the GT919 and GT929 pipelines) to solid tumor indications (GT818).
About Gluetacs
TherapeuticsGluetacs Therapeutics, focusing on the development of oral small molecule protein degrader, is the first biotech company incubated from ShanghaiTech University, Gluetacs was founded in February 2020, and started to operation in March 2021. It was founded by several scientists that have done intensive studies in target protein degradation. The company has independent intellectual property of GLUE degrader and GLUETAC degrader development platform with around 100 patents filed, which has indicated a unique and differentiated technical route and development strategy. The company has established artificial intelligence virtual screening platform, in vitro pharmacodynamics screening platform, pharmacokinetics platform, proteomics platform and in vivo drug pharmacology evaluation platform, and has constructed a complete whole-process drug R&D system. Since its operation in March 2021, Gluetacs Therapeutics has successfully advanced 2 drug candidates into phase I clinical trial, which has demonstrated the GlueTacs® platform's ability to rapidly discover drug candidates and promote pipelines.
